Last Day in Portugal

Brad
Jack
Logan
Benton

Today was our last day in Portugal, so we started the day by packing up from our Airbnb, walking to the car, and checking out (Benton got up a bit earlier than the others and went for a run around the water; see map below in orange).

Since we had a car, we drove to the Belém area near Lisbon, and then walked around a bit. We saw Belém Tower, and then walked to get lunch at Restaurante Belém 2 a 8, before stopping back by Pastéis de Belém for a pastel de nata (Benton had gone earlier in the trip, but was happy to go again).

The weather in Lisbon was wild; for the most part the temperature was comfortable, and it was relatively sunny, but there were tiny cells of super hard rain that would come occasionally. For example, we were walking along the water, and then it started pouring, so we just stood under a gas station cover for like 5 minutes until the rain stopped again.

Once we were done roaming around in Belém, we drove to check in at our Airbnb. It was pretty tiny (just one bed and one pull out couch; the reasoning here was that Logan and Benton had early flights, so we wouldn’t be sleeping there much). After checking in, Logan, Brad, and Benton walked with Brad to get some wine to take home. We then all met up at Pink Street (a touristy street with a bunch of bars), where we got some drinks (at a bar with super tiny seats) and played some more Euchre. Benton accidentally spilled his beer on Logan 🤡, but Jack did manage to start winning more of the Euchre games.

For dinner we got burgers at Collect - Food . Radio . Records (a pretty neat place with fun music), and after dinner we went to one more bar to finish off the trip (and play one more game of Euchre). We all slept pretty early: Benton and Logan were to wake up at 2:50am for their flights, so we couldn’t stay out too late.
