Travel to Prague

This morning, we got up, finished packing up, and walked to take a bus to the train station. Ryan’s massive suitcase was pretty funny on the bus, but overall the trip was uneventful. Benton worked most of the 4 hour train ride to Prague, and the others mostly slept, read, or watched some downloaded TV shows. (Roger left here, so it was only Benton, Elizabeth, Allan, and Ryan on the train)...

Shashank Arrives, Wine Festival, Explore

Today was victory in Europe day, so there were many activities that were options for us. Benton got up early and went to run at Vítkov (there was a long tunnel during the run which was neat; see map in orange for route). He got back, and Shashank (Benton’s friend from high school that he reconnected with in New York) arrived shortly after. Then the 5 of use (Allan, Benton, Shashank, Ryan, and Elizabeth) took the tram over to Písek Gate since we found online that there would be a wine festival there....

Joe Arrives, Beer Tour, Work, Cocktails

Benton get up and go to Spell Coffee to start the morning, with Ryan and Elizabeth joining shortly after. The coffee was really good, but the croissant Benton got was pretty dry. Roger (who we left in Vienna), had been in Prague before meeting us in Vienna, and during that time, he had managed to leave his necklace in his Prague hostel. He asked us to go pick that up for him, and that is what we did after breakfast....

Morning in Prague, Train to Berlin at Night

Today was our last day in Prague (we had a train to Berlin around 4pm), so we started the day off by packing up, checking out of the Airbnb, and dropping off our bags at Prague Main Station. Unfortunately, the UX of checking in bags at the station was a mess, requiring a phone number and preventing others from opening more lockers until the previous person was completely done loading. This delayed our drop off by quite a bit since we had to wait in line, but eventually we checked in everything successfully....
