🇦🇹Vienna

Today Logan, Jack, and Brad all headed home, while Benton flew to Vienna. Logan and Benton had flights super early (5am for Benton, 5:45ish for Logan), so we both woke up around 2:50am. Brad and Jack didn’t have to get up until 8am, but overall our travels were relatively uneventful, and another successful Europe vacation was in the books. Upon arriving at the Vienna airport, Benton met up with Ryan (Elizabeth’s friend from Meta who flew from San Francisco), and then they took the train to near the Airbnb, where they got food at Cafe Naschkätzchen (Benton really liked this place; he got a stew type thing which was very tasty)....

This morning, the weather wasn’t great (cold with some misty rain off and on). Ryan went for a nice run and ended up over near Belvedere Palace, while Benton and Allan did some work. (In general, Benton had gotten the green light from his manager that he could work much more random hours this year, so it made sense to work in the morning before the other members of our group arrived, since that would free up more time in the evening to hang out)....

The night before, Roger decided to sleep on our couch instead of heading to check in at his own Airbnb, so in the morning he got up and went to drop his stuff off. Elizabeth was exhausted from her travels, so she slept in. Allan and Benton worked (Allan doesn’t have a job, but he had some take home tests using PHP, a programming language that he doesn’t know, that a company wanted him to do) in the morning while Ryan chilled, and eventually we ended up walking to Freyja - the croissant story, where we all convened....
